Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 to 3 large potatoes scrubbed and thinly sliced
- 2 medium sized onions, sliced
- 1 cup skim milk heated
- approximately 2 tbsp. becel margarine
- garlic powder and black pepper to taste
- ¾ cup Essential Cheese, grated
Preparation
Spray Pam into a 7x11 baking pan or pyrex dish. Sprinkle garlic powder on to bottom & sides of pan. Place a layer of sliced potatoes, overlapping the edges on bottom of pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper & garlic powder, layer sliced onions on next, then cover with half of the grated cheese. Repeat layers and seasoning.
Place dabs of becel on top of casserole and pour heated milk into casserole. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour and serve or bake ahead for 45 min. and then you can reheat it with the rest of your meal.
